Non-Alcoholic Mojito
In this classic recipe, we suggest using Bax Botanics Lemon Verbena since the herbal notes of these non-alcoholic spirits compliment the mint wonderfully.
- 2 oz Bax Botanics Lemon Verbena
- 1.5 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 teaspoon of Demerara sugar or brown sugar (if you like it sweeter feel free to add more)
- 10-12 fresh mint leaves
- Club soda or sparkling water to top
- Cubed ice
- Lime wedges or wheels, for garnish
How to make a virgin mojito?
- Gently muddle the mint leaves with the sugar and lime juice in a tall glass until the leaves are fragrant and slightly crushed.
- Fill the glass to the top with cubed ice. The ice will play an important role, using cubed ice will stop quick dilution and avoid a watered-down cocktail.
- Pour 2 oz of your non-alcoholic rum or spirit over the ice.
- Top the glass with club soda or sparkling water and give it a quick stir to mix all the ingredients together.
- Garnish with a lime wedge or a couple of lime wheels and don’t forget to put a sprig of fresh mint on top.
- Serve and enjoy your delightful non-alcoholic mojito mocktail!
