Non-Alcoholic Mojito

In this classic recipe, we suggest using Bax Botanics Lemon Verbena since the herbal notes of these non-alcoholic spirits compliment the mint wonderfully.

  • 2 oz Bax Botanics Lemon Verbena
  • 1.5 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon of Demerara sugar or brown sugar (if you like it sweeter feel free to add more)
  • 10-12 fresh mint leaves
  • Club soda or sparkling water to top
  • Cubed ice
  • Lime wedges or wheels, for garnish

How to make a virgin mojito?

  1. Gently muddle the mint leaves with the sugar and lime juice in a tall glass until the leaves are fragrant and slightly crushed.
  2. Fill the glass to the top with cubed ice. The ice will play an important role, using cubed ice will stop quick dilution and avoid a watered-down cocktail.
  3. Pour 2 oz of your non-alcoholic rum or spirit over the ice.
  4. Top the glass with club soda or sparkling water and give it a quick stir to mix all the ingredients together.
  5. Garnish with a lime wedge or a couple of lime wheels and don’t forget to put a sprig of fresh mint on top.
  6. Serve and enjoy your delightful non-alcoholic mojito mocktail!
